HOW TO MANUALLY CONFIGURE YOUR INTERNET BROWSERS TO USE A PROXY SERVER


Internet explorer

Step1.
On the tab above find ‘tools’ -> Internet options.
Step 2.
On the tabs locate ‘connections’ tab, if you use your mobile phone as modem click you phone in the dial up and virtual connections box. And click settings.
Step3.
Tick ‘use proxy server for this connection’
Step 4.
Click the advanced button
Step 5.
In the first http: dialogue box put the proxy server address in the ‘proxy server to use’ and the port In the ‘port’ box.
Step 6.
Click okay -> okay -> cancel
And you are set to browse the Internet.!!!!!!


Mozilla firefox

Step 1. Go to tools -> options -> advanced.
Step 2. In the tab below click network -> settings.
Step 3. Tick ‘manual proxy setting configuration’
Step 4. Fill in the box as follows
HTTP proxy: your proxy address here port: your proxy port here
Step 5. Click okay -> okay.
And you are set to surf the web.
